work with itouch 3G
Unlike many other products, this one work with itouch 3G. It's really loud for a small device!

Great portable speaker for the price.
I just bought these speakers and they are great. Bearing in mind that these are small speakers meant to be portable, the sound is great. The unit is well built and light weight and so far I have had no problems at all. For the price, these are fantastic, I would highly recommend.

Portable day spa sound system for a traveling massage therapist!
Please note: this is not in my possession yet, however this review is based on a display model which I set my personal iPod nano 3G into.
At the counter with multiple speaker systems; there were several interesting options as far as "speakers" go. Of course all the Logitech items were ideal in sofar as weight, size, quality output and price. (I still can't figure out how Bose thinks I am going to dish out $3-400 when I have a home surround sounds sony amplifier, adapted via apple's iPod-doc and remote control. Especially since it does not have an auxiliary input for other devices like my phone.)
_Anyway_ Back to the subject at hand.
My needs are: a small portable, compact system which can be toted to my massage appointments (I am a therapist), with clear quality sound. What has really worked for me over the years has been the Logitech MM50 and its successor the Pure-Fi of the same size, yet increased audio quality. (It was already really good at the MM50 level.) Both of these have a built in rechargeable battery, inaccessible for change, so you will be up a creek when the battery begins to fail. Which in my case is highly likely as I used them all the time.
This new logitech item: S125i, is absolutely amazing. It is so small that it fits in both of my hands and almost completely in one hand. Initially I placed my iPod in and listened to a few pop songs. For the price it was above decent, actually for the price which is 1/3 of its cousins (Logitech MM50/Pure-Fi), it was not only above fantastic it made my mouth drop. I was expecting tinny sound that would require a bit of finagling with the EQ. Let me clarify that it is slightly muddled and not near the quality of the Logitech 'cousins'. However when I placed the iPod on increased Treble; and also hit the boom-box button for more bass on the unit... then I was happy. It was clear and had a lot more depth. Please qualify this with the fact that the music used and focused on is ambient, relaxing, crystal chimes, waterfalls, flutes, spacey vocals. This will be my portable day-spa sound system. The added benefit was that it has a compartment for batteries of a normal size (AA). Because I have a charger; I just need to buy rechargeable (AA) batteries and replace them when they age, alternating between sets. Plus there is an auxiliary input to connect to a cell phone or a non-iPod device, or laptop.
This baby is coming home to me~~ real soon!

surprisingly big sound for a tiny product
I purchased this unit just before taking a trip. I thought it would be a welcome thing to have a dock that would charge my IPod and provide music in my hotel room. The battery option didn't hurt either, as I figured I could use it outside on my front porch.
When it arrived and I saw how tiny it was I thought, "This thing isn't going to be worth what I spent." Never judge a book by its cover! When I first turned it on I thought I was right, but once I found the bass boost button I realized, wow, this thing sounds great for how tiny it is!
My only problem was at first I had a problem when I couldnt' get my IPod to dock propperly, but once I got that figured out it's been smooth sailing ever since. The unit provided hours of music during my vacation as well as kept my IPod charged. And the other night I put batteries in it and had a portible yet good sounding way to enjoy music on my porch without having to use headphones.
Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase! If you're looking for a decent sounding and compact dock for your IPod I highly recommend this product!
Note: I am using an IPod nano 4th gen with this unit. I've also used the line in feature, which works flawlessly.
